17 Οκτ 2023 · You can try the following steps to see if they solve your problem: Open Microsoft Edge. Play audio or video on a website. Right-click the volume icon in the Windows taskbar. 10 Δεκ 2019 · In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results. Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it. Right-click the listing for your sound card or audio device, then select Properties. Select the Driver tab, then select Roll Back Driver.
I understand that the sound icon is gone from the taskbar, go to the Windows search bar and type: Enable or disable system and enter icons. It will open a screen with several icons that you can activate or deactivate within Windows, leave the option "Volume" as activated. I hope I helped, even more!
24 Αυγ 2020 · It seems my issue isn't with Edge but with Dolby Audio on my Windows 10 Lenovo IdeaPad S340. yes i had the same problem. edge has an issue. just install volume booster add-on and the problem will be solved. Go to Setting /Sound /Advanced sound options /Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults /Click Reset. Done!
