Charles Anthony Prabhakaran (1985-2009) was the son of LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran and a prominent member of the Sri Lankan Tamil Tigers militant organization, formally known as the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). He died on 18 May 2009.
At around 3:00 a.m. on 18 May 2009, Prabhakaran's son Charles Anthony tried to break the defenses of the Army, but was unsuccessful. He died along with around 100 other LTTE fighters. Troops found 12 million rupees in his possession. [20]
