Stone Talus - The basic form of a Talus. Drops basic gems like flint , amber , opal , or Ruby - use bomb arrows or scale it from behind and attack the ore with a two-handed weapon
It's a bit wasteful of arrows, but can be more efficient if you use multishot bows (at this close range all arrows would hit from 3x-5x bows), and you only need to do this about 2-3x. Or find taluses which have the ore on the top of their heads so you can go ham with melee weapons instead :)

It disguises itself in the ground as a collection of rocks, and the boss forms as Link draws near. The Stone Talus is the first overworld boss Link can encounter in the game, situated in the Forest of Spirits on the Great Plateau.
Use hammers, bombs, and blunt objects when tackling a Talus since they are made of rock. The base level Stone Talus has 300 HP, while the Rare Stone Talus has 900 HP.

Talus are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are stony creatures found throughout Hyrule. There are eight types of Talus; five giant creatures that are mini-bosses, and three small creatures that are minor enemies called Pebblits.
