Miss Etta Kette (often called just "Miss Etta" for short) is a character appearing in Seasons 4, 5, and 6 of Barney & Friends. She is a bird who speaks with a Southern accent and lives in the tree with Scooter McNutty. Her name is a play on the word Etiquette. She was played by Brice Armstrong.
Scooter McNutty is a character who appeared in Seasons 4-6 of Barney & Friends. He is a brown squirrel who lives next door in the tree where Miss Etta Kette lives and is known for his scatterbrained adventures, which are the consequences of acting first and thinking later. He was puppeteered and voiced by Todd Duffey.
