12 Απρ 2013 · Paul has just (6:3-5) confronted the false teachers who supposed that godliness was a means of (material) gain. But then with a play of words, he clarifies that godliness is actually a means of great gain, when accompanied by contentment (v. 6).
(1 Timothy 6:7-8) The heart of contentment. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
