Boy Scout Anniversary rank insignia. Special Anniversary insignia. A special "ring" which surrounds the World Crest emblem and which announces the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America is available for wear by ALL youth or adult members.
The Boy Scouts of America Centennial was a special event to celebrate its centennial that took place from September 1, 2009, through December 31, 2010. It celebrated its incorporation on February 8, 1910.

2 Απρ 2014 · Which numbered service star do I wear? First, figure out your registration date with the unit. At the year anniversary of that date, you’re eligible to wear a 1-year service star. Repeat that every year. Most units will wait to award their service stars at a court of honor or special ceremony.
Beginning with January 1, 2010, the Boy Scout 100th Anniversary ring may be worn on the outside of the World Crest. Square knots (see section below ) are worn above the left pocket. The space on the left pocket itself is reserved to indicate Scout rank .
