8 Ιαν 2011 · Based on the graph, if you want the sub to be a smooth extension of the mains, I'd try 80Hz first. If you want the subs 10+ dB louder than the mains, I'd go with 120 Hz. Then I'd listen and pick what sounded best.

5 Μαρ 2011 · The frequency cut off you select for the speakers should really be set to 80hz, while the LFE setting should be set to 120hz. 80hz is the THX (and others) setting, but you can play with it if you wish, as John says. So if setup like this, then there's a band between 80-120hz where the sub and the speakers are both reproducing the bass then?
9 Ιουν 2015 · Both 80 Hz and 120 Hz are reasonable crossovers based on your room, speakers, and ears. The LFE channel setting is just for movies. The 120 Hz setting is a low pass filter and should almost never be adjusted.
