23 Απρ 2012 · After pulling the throttle body from a 4.0 Cherokee and comparing them, I thought this one might really work. The 4.0 throttle body was significantly larger. I figured this point would be the bottle neck preventing any high flow filter or CAI from working.

5 Απρ 2009 · I can build a very strong jeep using jeep parts, like a dana 60 or 44 from a full size, or a super 35 even. However if I did use an 8.8, it's just a rear diff, where as the motor is the heart and soul of the rig.

9 Ιαν 2009 · A few simple things I did to increase performance. Changed the plugs over to autolite plats and gapped them correctly at .035, changed plug wires, cap rotor, did a throttle body cleaning then seafoamed the upper combustion chamber to remove carbon. Switched to full syn 5-30w oil with a mopar filter.

29 Οκτ 2015 · The Jeep engineers designed the exhaust system to flow the right amount of exhaust and generate the correct amount of back pressure for the 2.5. You can over scavenge the cylinders and kill performance and gas mileage with an ill designed exhaust system.
