Review manufacturer labeling and mixing instructions. 2,4-D concentrate is sold at different levels of potency by different manufacturers, so the ratio that is appropriate for one 2,4-D product may not be correct for another.

Apply 2,4-D/LV4 as a water or oil-water spray during warm weather when weeds or woody plants are actively growing. Application under drought conditions will often give poor results.
