The 200-4R is a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission by GM, capable of fitting into most Chevy’s from the 80s and before, built similarly to the TH200 and TH350, as well as the 2-speed Powerglide transmission.
The 200-4R is a transmission that was manufactured by General Motors for the 1981 model year. It is a the lesser known of the two overdrive transmissions made by GM in 1980’s, and is still considered part of the Turbo-Hydramatic series.
1 ημέρα πριν · I've read pretty much most the posts on here regarding swapping my powerglide for a TH350 or a 200-4r. But I'm still hesitant to pull the trigger on either one at the moment. I have a transmission guy here in the UK that can build me either a Th350 or 200-4r. But I don't have the budget to rebuild my 2.73 rear axle.
200-4R: Easy Installation & Great Pricing. GM 200-4R transmissions are becoming harder and harder to find, but they remain a great replacement for an older two-speed Powerglide or a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic. The reason for this is because you don’t have to make major adjustments.

27 Σεπ 2017 · Tranny notes I have put together: 1) 01-06 accord euro-r and 05-06 rsx-s have same tranny. 2) 01-06 itr has the same 1-3 gear ratios as the 02-06 rsx-s, euro-r, and 06 si but has different 4-6 gear ratios. 3) K20A2, K20A euro-r, K20Z1 all have the same 1-6 gear ratios.
