24 Δεκ 2014 · I'm looking at installing a 3" leveling kit in the front and 1" in the back, and I've heard some mixed reviews about whether or not its overall a good idea to have a leveling kit installed at all. Looking for a little insight from the knowledgeable.

To level the truck, do you just need to buy the 2" front spacers or is there anything required in the rear? I saw some reviews on the Rough Country website that said the 2" kit left the truck looking like the nose was higher? Is this truck really 2" lower in the front than the rear in stock form?
9 Μαρ 2010 · 08 4X4 TRD Sport. 2 inch leveling kit, BFG all-terrain, weather tech floor mats, ipod adapter, AFE filter. Anyone have any pics, suggestions, tire sizes, ride, etc. I'm considering doing a leveling kit because I don't want to put a lift but, I wish the truck was more level.
8 Νοε 2007 · A cheap leveling kit will work...only problem is that you have TRD coil springs. It might give you a rough ride. I would look into some Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Preload shocks or coilovers depending on your budget.
28 Απρ 2022 · I would avoid a leveling kit if you plan to go off roading at all. The factory struts do not play well with spacer lifts. I did a ready lift spacer set up that ended up pancaking my front struts and caused $1800 in damage. The most bang for your buck would be the Bilstein 5100's.
10 Ιαν 2009 · i have a question for anyone with a tacoma or any other truck that may be running a leveling kit. Is there a big differance between a 3inch kit and a 2.5 kit. i have read to stay away from the 3 inch kits because it wears out the struts and ball joints really fast.
20 Μαΐ 2013 · My question is, has anyone tried Toyota's leveling kit, and if so what did you think? What's the best tire size to go along with the kit on the 16in rim? If I'm not mistaken the front will raise 1.25in and 2.5in in the rear.
