It has less recoil than the 7mm Rem Mag and the 300 Win Mag, making it the 3rd most powerful recoil in this comparison.
The .300 Win Mag is a bigger and bulkier bullet with more recoil power than the .30-06. However, it is also clear that it has a flatter trajectory on a long range and is far ahead than the .30-06 at a range beyond 500 yards.
