AISI 301 stainless steel mechanical properties are given in the datasheet below including tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, reduction in area, Brinell and Rockwell hardness, etc. Datasheet 3, Type 301 stainless steel properties – 2. Recommended annealing temperature is 1040 °C (1900 °F)
25 Νοε 2010 · The Brinell hardness test is commonly used to determine the hardness of materials like metals and alloys. The test is achieved by applying a known load to the surface of the tested material through a hardened steel ball of known diameter.
Steel hardness conversion chart: Shows equivalents using Brinell, Rockwell B and C and Vickers scales. These values are approximate and for guidance only. Also hardness ranges for heat treated steel.
Note 2: Hardness specification limits given are HRB = Rockwell B scale, HRC = Rockwell C scale, HB = Brinell Hardness. Note 3: 3CR12 generally conforms with both ASTM A240 grade S41003 and with EN 10088 Parts 1 and 2, grade 1.4003.
The following datasheet provides an overview of grade 301 full hard stainless steel. The chemical composition of grade 301 full hard stainless steel is outlined in the following table. The following table shows the physical properties of grade 301 full hard stainless steel.
Typical hardness values for annealed and cold-rolled Type 301 are given in the following table: * Minimum - standard practice is to produce to either minimum tensile strength, minimum yield strength or minimum hardness, but not to combinations of these properties. Type 301 is non-hardenable by heat treatment.
The following datasheet gives an overview of grade 301 1/2 hard stainless steel. The following table shows the chemical composition of grade 301 1/2 hard stainless steel. The physical properties of grade 301 1/2 hard stainless steel are displayed in the following table.
