18 Απρ 2017 · Within this guide, I will discuss how to safely, and rather inexpensively, modify your supercharged 3800 to pick up a few ponies as well as dispel some myths about the platform.
Includes stock pulley and bypass valve, plastic tube fitting, PCV valve assembly, and mounting shield tab. We also replace any worn bypass parts such as bypass bearings and butterfly. Trade in your old M62 before or after purchase.
17 Σεπ 2021 · To improve the flow rate of the throttle body, we installed a radiused air inlet using a silicone coupler. While this set up certainly improved the flow rate, the same can’t be said for power production, as the air intake managed to increase the peak power by a scant 2 horsepower (to 291 hp) and 2 lb.-ft. (294 lb.-ft.).

Introduced in 2004, the Series III Supercharged engine has 20 more hp than the previous generation 3800, which is due to the improved Gen V Eaton M90 Supercharger compared to the series II's Gen III Supercharger. The engine also features stronger connecting rods than its older counterpart.
