A simple "L" network (with the antenna attached to the capacitor side) provides a good match for a high-impedance load, such as a half-wavelength wire. A series L-C circuit can be used to match a low-impedance load, as presented by a quarter-wave wire.

18 Απρ 2020 · A well-designed Z-match tuner has a high Q and is more efficient (less lossy) than other types of tuners. The fixed inductor simplifies construction (no taps or rollers needed). Using a toroid inductor and some small poly-film variable capacitors, the Z-match can be built into a very compact package.
The Circuit The Sudden has only two active components: IC1, an SA602* chip which contains a mixer and an oscillator and IC2, an LM386 audio amplifier chip. The signal at the antenna input goes directly to an attenuator; a 10K linear potentiometer that serves as the receiver GAIN control.
