I currently have a 720p TV and these shows look ok when at full screen. If I get a 1080p or 4K TV will these shows still look ok or will they be pixelated when at full screen?
4 Οκτ 2002 · If the original material is shot at 24 or 30 FPS, then the bigger the number, the better and 480p is better than 480i. What 480p and 720p potentially add is the ability to shoot at 60 FPS.

480i and especially 576i is a very acceptable resolution for smaller CRTs especially if using RGB which provides the sharpest and cleanest picture. I still use a 21" CRT as my kitchen TV with a DVB-T decoder using RGB and I swear that thing looks like HD.
