28 Οκτ 2019 · The vent hose had been shoved down, creating a sag, or belly, and causing fuel to become trapped in the line, which blocked the tank’s ability to vent. Not only can this boat fuel tank vent cause issues when filling up, but it can also starve the engine of fuel and leave you stranded.
3. Mount fill using #8 pan head screws. Caulk if necessary. 4. Attach and clamp 1-1/2 inch fill hose and 5/8 inch vent hose in accordance with the above referenced standards. 5. The vent system requires that the surge valve feels loose in order to operate properly. Remove two screws under cap to access flame arrestor screen for cleaning.
