21 Δεκ 2018 · At 140 grains, the 6.5 has an S.D. figure of 0.287, and the 7mm an S.D. of 0.248, and though the 7mm-08 offers a velocity advantage of 115 fps or so, the penetration advantage would still go to the 6.5 Creedmoor.
5 Απρ 2008 · the sierra 175grs match bullet in 7mm is a good choice for longrange but the accuracy reputation of the 6.5x55 is indisputable. I own 2 7/08's and a 6.5x47. for hunting I'd choose the 7mm, for the range the 6.5
