21 Ιουν 2021 · A '65/'66 bare housing is 52.25" flange-to-flange and a complete '65/'66 rear end is 57.25" WMS-to-WMS. In fact you can add 5" to the width of most Ford bare rear end housings to determine the width with axles.

9 Αυγ 2006 · There was a rear axle dimension chart in July '04 Mustang & Fords Mag. Shows '65-66 Mustang & '66-70 Falcon exactly the same dimensions -- 57-3/8" flange to flange & 43" center to center of spring perch.

13 Ιουλ 2021 · Using a 5" additional total for bake offsets and a 1.125" gap between axles for the differential, this puts my total width at 57.8", or about .5" greater than what we're told we need for a 65/66 Mustang.

6 Αυγ 2020 · The real problem with those charts is they cover very few 8.8" Ford axles! Most the axles listed are well before the 8.8" axle was even around! The Ranger Station has the best and most complete 8.8" Ford info.
