6 Σεπ 2024 · The P0731 diagnostic trouble code (DTC) in a Jeep indicates a gear ratio error in first gear. This means that the transmission is not shifting properly or that the gear ratio is not within the expected range for first gear.
2 Απρ 2019 · After resetting the code (deleting with OBEII tool), the MIL (check engine) light comes on at 3.0 miles (+/- 0.2) of test drive. Have performed the code delete and test drive about 10 times, and the check engine light always comes on within the same range of miles.
The P0731 code occurs when the PCM detects a discrepancy between the speeds of first gear’s input RPM sensor and transmission output RPM sensor. As a result, the vehicle cannot shift into first gear, and it could indicate that the transmission is slipping. What causes the P0731 code?

15 Ιουλ 2011 · If the jeep is still driveable, the problem could be an input or output speed sensor or wiring. Was any maintenance done lately? Did you check the fluid level and smell for burnt fluid? Looks like you have lost the hydraulic pressure in the tranny.
17 Σεπ 2011 · Guys, started troubleshooting why my blower motor problem today. The motor doesn't come on. The flap moves to change air circulation, and the cold/hot air flap works as well. I checked fuses and they are good.
