To comply with Iowa's One Call law, a homeowner or excavator must go online to IowaOneCall.com or call 811 or 800-292-8989 to schedule underground utility lines to be located and marked. This will create a ticket for the location to be visited.
When you have a project that requires digging, your first step is to contact Iowa One Call. You can do this by calling 811 or 1-800-292-8989 . You can also file your locate requests online by clicking on the “Submit a Ticket” button above.
Ticket Search allows member facility owners to track dig notifications received for their specified member codes, and is available from a downloadable executable, via the web or through the OHIO811 App.
