To comply with Iowa's One Call law, a homeowner or excavator must go online to IowaOneCall.com or call 811 or 800-292-8989 to schedule underground utility lines to be located and marked.
Calling Iowa One Call at 811 or 1-800-292-8989 can help prevent damage to infrastructure or injury during your next excavation project. When to Call. Anytime you plan to excavate. Whether it's a small or a large construction or homeowner project you must call at least 48 hours (NOT COUNTING WEEKENDS AND/OR LEGAL HOLIDAYS) prior to excavating.
