31 Ιουλ 2014 · The fix is to download the full format .bin tunes from openflash site unzip the downloaded files, DELETE the database format tunes in OFT using OFM, then load up the required full format tune .bin tune files to match your CALID of your stock ROM.
16 Φεβ 2021 · BRZ/86 flashing requires the latest hardware/firmware/software in the tactrix adapter. Tactrix Open Port 2 is hardware Dongle/Adapter to interface between you cars OBD-2 Port and your PC/Laptop. It can also log engine data if an SD card is installed and appropriate logcfg.txt file is on SD card.
28 Απρ 2022 · Based on the Subaru experience, the manual version of the GR86 will likely miss out on forward AEB but will still be equipped with rear AEB, blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. ANCAP is yet to assess the new BRZ/GR86 for a safety score.

27 Μαρ 2023 · Running the engine low on oil and “money shifting” a manual transmission (catastrophic over-rev due to downshifting) seem to be more common culprits for engine failure. RTV seems to be something engineers anticipated and accounted for. (It was a problem in the first generation BRZ/FR-S/86, too.)
No overcomplicated tech, no turbo to complicate cooling or added points of failure. Most common thing I can think of is the TOB on 13-16 cars which only last around 60k miles. 17+ TOB use a different grease which apparently fixes that issue.
23 Απρ 2022 · Most are VERY reliable, however dont let the masses gloss over the fact that the 86 biggest issue is random rod knock that occurs and destroys engines. Quite unfortunate, and sometimes quite random entirely.
