Open the Messenger desktop app. Click on an end-to-end encrypted chat with someone. Click . Click End-to-end Encryption. Compare your keys with another person's keys. Once you're viewing your keys in your end-to-end encrypted chat: Click Your keys. Your friend should click your name to show the keys for you on their device.
Either insert your security key into your computer and activate it by touching it, or if you have an NFC key, hold it near your computer's sensor (the location of the NFC sensor depends on your device).
Both you and the other person in the end-to-end encrypted chat have keys that you can use to verify that messages are secure.
