To be eligible to earn your M.Ed. in Special Education – Learning and Behavioral Disabilities online from Texas State University, you must have the following: Completed online application; Nonrefundable application fee of $55; Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university
The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) is dedicated to improving results for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities ages birth through 21 by providing leadership and financial support to assist states and local districts.
The online master’s degree in Special Education is intended for individuals with a solid background in education, behavior, disability, or related fields. A teaching certificate is not required, but teaching or clinical experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
The SSES application is closed. The application will open again on February 3, 2025, as the Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) application.
