17 Νοε 2022 · This systematic review and meta-analysis examines randomized clinical trials comparing early vs elective delayed anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)
Results. A total of 1592 patients were enrolled (57% male; median age 24 years). Ten-year follow-up was obtained on 83% (1320) of the cohort. Both IKDC and KOOS scores significantly improved at 2 years and were maintained at 6 and 10 years.

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture is a common sporting-related knee injury with a potentially detrimental impact on the athlete’s career, yet there is no formal consensus on the optimal graft choice for reconstructing the ruptured ACL in this specific population.
20 Δεκ 2021 · Results. Nine studies were included, consisting of 347 patients, mean age 32.5 years, mean minimum follow up 2 years. There were 36 failures (10.4%, CI 7.4% - 14.1%). PROMs reporting was variable across studies. KOOS, Lysholm and IKDC scores were most frequently used with mean scores > 87%.
