Adam Cooper (born 22 July 1971) is an English dancer. He works as both a performer and choreographer in musical theatre, and has choreographed and/or starred in award-winning shows such as On Your Toes, Singin' in the Rain and Grand Hotel.

The Adam Cooper Company represented the UK at the Washington International Ballet Festival, March 2003, performing a revival of Sir Kenneth MacMillan's Sea of Troubles. Adam also restaged and danced in Sea of Troubles for English National Ballet for their season at Jerwood Theatre at the Royal Opera House 2004
9 Δεκ 2020 · Adam danced the Swan from 1995 to 2003, sometimes fitting in performances between Royal Ballet appearances: “That was the only way they would let me go.” During the Piccadilly Theatre season he was combining the two and got injured; he also danced in the Dominion Theatre season and in Japan.
In 1989 he joined the ensemble of the Royal Ballet as a classical dancer, rising to soloist in 1994 and appearing in choreographies created by Kenneth MacMillan, George Balanchine, Michel Fokine, Bronislawa Nijinska, Mikhail Baryshnikov, William Forsythe and others.
Adam Cooper was born in London and trained at the Arts Educational School and the Royal Ballet School. He Joined the Royal Ballet in 1989, was promoted to First Artist and Soloist in 1991, and to Principal Dancer in 1994. Since 1997 Cooper has been a freelance artist.
