The Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) is a large, open-access database that contains hundreds of brain scans from both healthy controls and people with Alzheimer’s.
ADNI-3 data along with previous ADNI data will be provided in an ‘analysis-ready‘ form for searching and downloads. They will also be provided for data aggregation efforts such as the Global Alzheimer’s Association Interactive Network.
1 Ιουλ 2017 · MRI for ADNI-1 focused on consistent longitudinal structural imaging on 1.5T scanners. ADNI-2 imaging was performed at 3T with structural imaging similar to ADNI-1, adding 2D FLAIR and T2*-weighted imaging at all sites.
ADNI with support from the Private Partner Scientific Board will use brain imaging to identify early-stage markers of Alzheimer’s disease, helping clinicians to diagnose patients and intervene as early as possible.
