When I watched the Breaking Bad episode “Fly,” I was strongly reminded of “I Remember You.” Both productions center around two characters who are interacting in a room, with their conversations at first being amusing.
However, I Remember You still is, without a doubt, one of the best in the series. I could honestly take your review and paste the majority of it in my comment - it'd be easier than just regurgitating everything you said about Ice King at least.
Rewatching "I Remember You", so much more you pick up on. God rewatching this episode ups the feels so much. The first time I saw it last night the complete emotional shock didn't allow for me to fully grasp the weight of the episode so a second viewing was really rewarding.
