Recoupment (Reimbursement) of Indigent Defense Costs - As provided in § 15-12-15, Code of Alabama 1975, and Rule 6.4(f), Alabama Rules of Criminal Procedure, a court may require a convicted defendant to pay the cost of attorney fees and expenses paid to an appointed counsel or public defender.
AL Traffic Ticket Fines and Costs. Alabama traffic tickets are handled on a county level, and fines vary by violation and county. For example, the fine for following too closely to another vehicle isn't the same in every county. Your ticket should have the exact fine printed on it; if it doesn't, you can contact your court.

Visit the online traffic resolution system at RESOLVE.ALACOURT.GOV. Contact the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s office at 205-349-1252. Appear in court on your court date to discuss the option with the courtroom district attorney.
