Albufeira (pronounced [alβuˈfɐjɾɐ] ⓘ, locally [aɫbʷˈfeɾɐ, aɫbˈfeɾɐ]) is a city and municipality of Faro District in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. The population in 2021 was 44,158, [1] in an area of 140.66 square kilometres (54.31 square miles). [2] The city proper had a population of 28,645 in 2021. [3]

Praia dos Pescadores or the Fishermans Beach is a blue flag beach [1] on the Atlantic south coast of the Algarve, in the district of Bairro dos Pescadores (Neighborhood of the Fisherman), Albufeira which is within the Municipality of Albufeira, Portugal. [2]
6 Απρ 2024 · Albufeira is a city in Algarve, in the south of Portugal. Once a small fishing village it has now developed to be a very touristic area. Many holiday makers return year after year because of the lovely beaches, very good climate and the many restaurants, bars and pubs.

Despite its reputation, it remains ever popular today with a lively mix of locals, seasonal visitors, and of course tourists.
