Instead of them limiting the CPU's performance to help reduce some heat, Alienware gives you the full CPU power up to its design thermal limits of 100C (Intel) or 105C (AMD). This is normal, and even Dell mentions that there's no problem running your Alienware laptop at its limits.
21 Ιουλ 2013 · Temperatures as described are running great. Bad idle temps are around 70°C ~ 75°C and under load 85°C ~ 92°C or more (that's considered overheating). Make sure you place your computer on a flat surface with any fabric that may clog the vents.
While using HWInfo to keep track of your Temps, focus on the Average reading on Core Package. Your laptop hitting 100c is not a bad thing and is quite normal. But if your average Temps are 89c to 100c then you probably have a problem.
9 Απρ 2020 · It is at 55-65°C while surfing on Mozilla and spikes instantly to 85 - 95 even 100°C for the slightest operation. I feel that this temp is very unstable. While gaming it skyrockets to 100°C and does not go down the 95°C mark. CPU Temp and thermal throttling while browsing the web (lowest 55°) So here are my questions at this point:
