Enchanted axe is good. Crystalline and raiders talisman are the best. That setup will work untill skeletron. Once you kill him you can get the lionfish. The sulphurous armor set is a good alternative to victide. The Mirage Mirror is available pre wof so make sure to get it.
Get Daedalus armor now that cryogen is dead. Replace your balloon with wings (Cryogen dropped a pair). Early hard mode is a bit of a slump for rogue weapons. I used the spear of paleolith for the mech bosses (firing it straight up, not at the boss). Replace worm scarf or raider medallion with Ambroisal Ampoule.
