I just checked several of my Kindle books, both unlimited and purchased. The ISBN is located where the publisher information is, either at the front of the book, ahead of Beginning which you can page left to, or at the end after the last content page.
ISBNs are used by booksellers, libraries, publishers, and retailers (like Amazon) to identify the book, manage their inventory, and list it for sale. Amazon also assigns an ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) to each book, which is similar to an ISBN.
ISBNs are 10 or 13 digit codes identifying specific editions of a book. They're sometimes written with hyphens. Examples: 0321543254, 0-321-54325-4, 9780321543257. ISBN codes are usually listed on a book's back cover, bar code, or copyright page.
