4 Φεβ 2019 · A Note on Book Reviews. The American Historical Review tries to review as many historiographical monographs as possible. Of the over 2,200–2,500 books a year that we receive, we usually prove able to review slightly more than one-third. The figure for 2018 was 35.1 percent.
