7 Σεπ 2021 · If you want edit current gameplay: - save and exit game, - open settings.txt, find 'save as binary=yes' and change parameter to "no". Save changes, - open game, load save file, wait several in-game days and save file. Close game, - open fresh save with notepad.
13 Μαρ 2024 · When enabled, you can change most rules by opening up where you'd normally see the rules after hitting the esc key. One of the prereqs frequently has mod conflicts so you may want to have the mods on, make the changes while paused, save and exit and disable the mods.
You can’t change them mid game. But I think you can over ride them with allowdiplo and yesman commands for your issue.

9 Μαΐ 2023 · I have a personal submod I want to make for Kaiserredux to add a Custom game rule for the foreign policy of the PSA. And so I was trying to figure out how to actually add it but I'm getting mixed signals. Some say to only make changes in 00_game_rules.txt and in the ai_strategy plans folder.
