20 Φεβ 2022 · Checked this morning, same happens to me. Wifi android auto is activated on smartphone and even if I don't use it on car display, nor I open maps, battery drain is huge and battery usage reports it as 'android auto'.
15 Μαΐ 2020 · In the car I connected USB and refused the AA connection. Result: Phone was charging between 200 and 300 mA, which should be OK for max 0,5A and accu battery app running on the display....
I noticed in my phone's battery settings under app power saver settings that android auto was showing high battery drain and was being "managed". All I did was tell the phone to no longer control it and then I turned off the optimization for Android auto.
21 Σεπ 2021 · What I discovered is that Android Auto is sucking down my battery. I've also noticed that the icons in the upper right of my phone (S21 5G) toggle rapidly. It appears to be the GPS icon flashing off and on constantly while using Android Auto.
30 Αυγ 2016 · My Galaxy SC-04F, not rooted, recently upgraded to Android 6. Since then, it runs really hot and the battery drains very fast. I looked for solutions on the net, and I found two suggestions: Clear the app cache in Settings -> Storage -> Internal Storage ->Cached data.
Wireless android auto kills all phone batteries because it is WIRELESSLY providing the connection and data to your headunit while using your phones network. Also, some crappy phones are worse at wireless AA than others.
13 Σεπ 2021 · There is a problem with your head unit/wiring/car/battery. A properly installed head unit cannot deplete the battery in sleep mode. Perhaps consult a skilled installer or auto electrician in your area and also have your battery tested.
