9 Οκτ 2017 · Just to help others that may run into the same issue: wiping the cache partition solved the problem I was having with the Android OS consuming most of the battery on my S6. I'm running Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and recently it began losing over half the battery life in 2-3 hours. Usually, it's the screen that consumes the most battery.
22 Φεβ 2016 · Battery life lasts longer in the new Marshmallow update. However, I've seen some websites claim 10 hour battery life for video playback. Trust me, I tested this claim.
30 Αυγ 2016 · My Galaxy SC-04F, not rooted, recently upgraded to Android 6. Since then, it runs really hot and the battery drains very fast. I looked for solutions on the net, and I found two suggestions: Clear the app cache in Settings -> Storage -> Internal Storage ->Cached data.
13 Ιαν 2017 · Taking for example my configuration, I am having the same battery life on Oxygen OS 3.5.4 and on Oxigen OS 4.0.2 and on both versions, if I am on mobile data, the first app on my battery stats is "Google Play Services" and it seems to be the effect, in my case, of the Mobile radio active bug.
22 Φεβ 2016 · I've noticed App Optimisation is using 7% of my battery.... Cell standby 3% and Android system 8% with screen nicking 50%. Seems good, but i'm disabling App Optimisation and comparing over the next few days. Haven't experienced any drain from mobile or radio signals or any other bugs.
I have a Android One running 6.0.1 and "Android OS" drains battery when it's on idle. I've tried factory resetting twice, disabling wifi/bluetooth scanning, location services, removing apps and disabling google apps that I don't use but nothing worked.
22 Σεπ 2016 · Every since installing Android 6.0.1, my phone runs very hot and my battery drains crazy fast. With a little trial and error, I eventually determined that at least one process called AtFwdService was sucking the life out of my battery.
