- Adoptable Animals
All cats and dogs adopted from the Cleveland APL are altered (spayed or neutered), examined by a veterinarian, have received age appropriate, preliminary vaccinations, and have been treated for fleas and worms.
Dogs (5 months and older): Start at $125. Puppies (under 5 months): Start at $250. A dog license must be purchased – please add county license to final price. All dog’s must leave the APL on a leash. If you do not bring one, one can be purchased at the time of adoption.
CCAS provides a temporary home to dogs that are lost or stray. Owners have 72 hours to reclaim their lost pet, and if they are not reclaimed, dogs can be adopted or transferred to partner agencies. We are the dog licensing authority for Cuyahoga County.
