1 Ιουλ 2015 · Various methods have been suggested to avoid the animal use in experimentation. These methods provide an alternative means for the drug and chemical testing, up to some levels. Advantages associated with these methods are, time efficiency, requires less man power, and cost effectiveness.
Current trends and issues in the development of alternatives to the use of animals in biomedical experimentation are discussed in this position paper and genetic engineering and toxicogenomics are discussed with an eye toward the future of biological experimentation in general.
