Ankous can be assigned as a Slayer task at level 40 combat by various Slayer masters. As their only attack is melee, Protect from Melee can be used to negate all incoming damage. Ankous are a fairly fast task and have generous drop rates for death and blood runes.
Ankou are popular monsters for their common death and blood rune drops. They can be assigned as Slayer tasks by Vannaka, Nieve / Steve, Krystilia, Duradel / Kuradal, and Konar quo Maten. The Salve amulet works on this monster as it is an undead creature.

A player wearing the ankou outfit. The ankou outfit can be obtained as a master clue scroll reward from Treasure Trails. Wearing any of the pieces will make the worn piece seem transparent on the player, similar to an ankou. The outfit provides no stats and is therefore purely cosmetic.

28 Αυγ 2023 · Armor: The best armor available to the player should be worn. This can include Barrows armor, Dragon armor, or other high-level armor. Weapon: A weapon with a high attack speed and accuracy is recommended. A Dragon scimitar, Abyssal whip, or Saradomin sword are all good choices.
