Students are given opportunities to develop skills utilized by biologists as they employ the science practices throughout the course. The course is organized into eight units of instruction. The syllabus must cite the title, author, and publication date of a college-level textbook.
Course Descrip.on AP Biology is a year-long course designed for high school students as an opportunity to earn AP credit on their high school transcript, as well as placement credit for an introductory college-level science course.

The AP Biology Exam assesses student understanding of the science practices and learning objectives outlined in the course framework. The exam is 3 hours long and includes 60 multiple-choice questions and 6 free-response questions.

Everything I give you to do will help you learn the content, apply the concepts, and prepare you for the AP Biology test which is at noon on Thursday, May 16th. Chromebooks (school-issued) are a required classroom supply, but aren’t used in AP Biology class time every day.
