The folded yellow sheets that contained the lineups for the 20 players in each year’s new season release (and, starting with the 1964 set, smaller white sheets with the list of extra players, or XBs) were the bible that helped you figure out who normally hit where and who was on which team.
Does anyone know where I could get copies of the original lineup sheets and xb sheets for Apba baseball. I know they can be gotten off the website but as I said I’m looking for the original ones without all the XC players because I don’t use those players.
APBA has a large collection of lineup sheets here: http://apba.stores.yahoo.net/basecase.html. Note that they typically have lineup sheets only for the latest version of cards. Thus, the player list might differ than that from classic sets. However, the main players in the starting lineups should be there. —John
