For example, check with your cellular carrier that SMS forwarding hasn't been set up for a phone number associated with your Apple Account.

23 Φεβ 2022 · I was able to find out the phone number they are using after recovering access to my gmail account which they hacked into. I then get taken to a page that says a notification has been sent to your connected device.

After you've regained access to your Apple ID, set up two-factor authentication and use a strong passcode to protect your Apple devices and personal data.
5 Μαρ 2023 · There is something missing here. Your trusted device like your iPhone is what authenticates you. To access your iCloud account via your trusted device, you need either your iPhone passcode or iCloud password. None of this is attached to a SIM.
