All necessary processes can take place online. To apply for PAN and VAT registration, person or company must use Inland Revenue Department website (ird.gov.np) and select Taxpayer Portal. Expand Registration for PAN, VAT, Excise and click on Application for Registration.
The Taxpayer Portal of the Inland Revenue Department provides information on tax exemptions, education, sectors, excise duty, and non-profit organizations.
Online Applications: If you’ve applied online, you’re in luck! This is usually the fastest route. In most cases, you can receive your PAN within 1-3 working days after submission of all required documents. In-Person Applications: If you’ve applied at an Inland Revenue Office, the process might take a bit longer.

Application for PAN through Online Services One single character initial is allowed in middle name field in PAN application for individual category. (Please note that name in proof of identity and proof of address should exactly match with the name in application).
