5 Ιουν 2012 · I am building a few uppers and I need to remove and install a different flash hider on different 11.5" SBR carbine barrels with medium to USGI contour. I assume I need a barrel vise jaws to properly remove and install the flash hider. Can you guys recommend a reasonably priced barrel vise jaw that will do the job.

Here are the tools you will need: Strong bench vise, mounted to a bench. DPMS Milspec Armorer's Barrel Wrench. DPMS Barrel Vise Jaws (aluminum) 1/2" Socket wrench. 1/2" socket extension of at least 2" in length.
5 Μαρ 2022 · You're best served with a heavy duty vise that uses bushings that conform to the barrel taper. This is all about surface area when pulling a barrel that might need 600-1000 ft lbs to break free (yes, I've had 5' cheaters for milsurps).
