11 Αυγ 2021 · The early model Kimbers (series I) were the better guns that Kimber made, however I had a Team Match II in 9mm and a Kimber Stainless II (that had the eclipse finish on it in 9mm) that were seriously great.

Springfield Armory makes a solid 1911, Dan Wesson makes a DAMN good 1911, and there's always the poverty pony, Colt. Stay away from Kimber, stay away from Taurus. The Turkish 1911 pistols have been pretty solid too.
