Put the macro somewhere comfortable on your bars and whenever things get a little crazy, just target your tank and hit the macro. It should target their target for you. To make it super easy, just type: /assist tankname.
Is there any addons (not like rotation assist or any of that garbage) but like threat meter addons or anything that would help me with tanking? any input would be appreciated :D.
Best addon for any tank is always to have good plates. Try plater or threatplates or any similar addon of your liking. It helps a TON when aoe tanking or tanking trash in general to easily see what mobs have aggro on a tank and what mobs have aggro on someone else (without having to swap targets)
This WoW addon makes assisting easy whether you're assisting or want to be assisted, by allowing you to set a keybinding which will automatically target the tank's target or put a raid mark on your current target if that's you.
targetAssist provides unit frames that track tanks and main assists in your party or raid, along with their current targets. You can position the frames by dragging the header bar. Targeting buttons can be arranged above or below the header (see the Appearance section of the configuration options):
TankAssist creates a macro key, called Assist, that makes it easy to set whom you are assisting, even if that character is using special characters in their name. To change whom you are assisting, simply target that character, hold shift, and press the key to which you've assigned your Assist macro.
