10 Μαΐ 2011 · Band (MOS 42R) Description / Major Duties: The brass, woodwind, percussion, or rhythm player performs as a member of a Music Support Team (MST) in a Army band. Duties for MOS 42R at each skill level are: MOSC 42R1O. An instrumentalist performs all applicable styles of music.
42R Musician. Arranged 10 pieces of music for a newly formed music performance team to use during a mission. SPC Salazar spent more than 40 hours outside of his normal scope of duty to prepare the music performance team to successfully complete the mission.

Trainers and first-line supervisors should ensure soldiers holding MOS 42R skill levels 3 and 4 have access to this publication.
