An Overseas Service Ribbon is a service military award of the United States military which recognizes those service members who have performed military tours outside the borders of the United States of America.
You must certify your honorable service by signing and dating the application and returning it with a copy of supporting documents to: US Army Human Resources Command
Soldiers who have overseas service with another branch of service (AF, Navy, Marines) must be credited with normal overseas tour completion by that service to qualify for award of the OSR.
